Después de un largo período de lluvia como el que acabamos de experimentar a Peralada, siempre es buena idea comprobar que el nivel del agua en su piscina no haya subido demasiado.
Si pasa por encima de la parte superior del skimmer (levanta la tapa y mira dentro), su piscina no filtrará bien – el polvo y la suciedad del superficie no se aclarara.
Si el nivel está demasiado alto entonces necesita bajarlo poniendo en marcha su bomba al desague. No se olvide de abrir la válvula de desague, y SIEMPRE apaga el motor antes de girar la multiválvula.Además, siempre es bueno comprobar que su caseta no haya sido inundada, especialmente si está subterránea.
Hoy, Mike y Richie estarán haciendo comprobaciones de las piscinas de todos nuestros clientes para comprobar los niveles.

After a long period of heavy rain, such as we’ve just experienced here in Peralada, it is always a good idea to check that the water level in your pool hasn’t risen too high. If it is over the top of your skimmer level (lift the lid and look inside) then your pool will not filter properly - the surface dust and dirt will not clear.
If the level is too high then you need to lower it by running your pump to waste. Don’t forget to open the waste valve and ALWAYS turn off the motor before moving the multivalve.
It is also a good idea to check that your pump house hasn’t flooded, especially if it is below ground.
Today, Mike and Richie will be checking all of our client’s pools to ensure the correct water levels.

Richie y yo hemos casi terminado nuestras inspecciones de las piscinas de todos nuestros clientes. Un análisis seguirá pronto y luego estaremos entregando los informes juntamente con nuestras recomendaciones a nuestros clientes.
El informe es muy completo, cubriendo 25 puntos dividido en 5 áreas: el filtro; válvulas, bomba/motor; piscina y equipo, y un análisis muy completo del agua.
La idea detrás de cada informe es de facilitar a nuestros clientes información actualizada sobre el estado de su piscina y destacar y resolver cualquier problema que podría afectar el disfrute de su piscina antes de comenzar la nueva temporada.

Richie and I have almost finished our pool surveys for all our client’s pools. Water analysis will follow soon and then we will be posting our results and recommendations to our clients.
The survey is very comprehensive, covering 25 points in five main areas: The Filter, Valves, Pump/Motor, Pool and Equipment and includes a full water analysis.
The idea behind each survey is to provide our clients with an up-to-date report on the state of their pool and to highlight and resolve any potential problems for the coming season that might affect the enjoyment of their pool.

Las restricciones de agua que han estado vigentes en l’Alt Empord à desde el verano pasado finalmente han sido levantadas.
Esto significa que las piscinas pueden ser vaciadas para mantenimiento necesario como por ejemplo el rejuntado, o cambio del agua.

The water restrictions that have been in place in the Alt Empordà throughout last summer and this winter have now been lifted.
This means that swimming pools can now be emptied for essential maintenance such as re-grouting or water replacement.

Durante el curso de las próximas semanas estaremos realizando informes sobre las piscinas de todos nuestros clientes, incluyendo el equipamiento, accesorios y un exhaustivo análisis de la calidad del agua. Se entregará el informe a cada cliente destacando cualquier problema (actual o potencial), e incluirá nuestras recomendaciones.
El objetivo de estos informes es de asegurarnos de que su piscina esté funcionando de la manera más eficaz y económico y que esté en perfectas condiciones de caras a la próxima temporada.

Over the next few weeks we will conducting a survey of our clients pools, machinery and equipment including an exhaustive water quality analysis. A report will then be compiled and sent to each client highlighting any problems (actual or potential) and including recommendations.
The aim of the survey is to ensure that your pool is operating effectively, efficiently and that it is in perfect condition for the coming season.
